Letting Go...

Today I was reminded by a client's reaction, just how healing and healthy a massage can be.

She released the tension of life that had bottled up in her body and lay dormant in her neck and shoulders. With each breath, she released the discomfort that was manifesting in her body as I administered a deep tissue massage.

It's amazing how we can heal ourselves in a simple 50 minutes.

The body is incredile! By releasing what are known as "knots" we prevent disease, improve blood flow, and bring balance and harmony to mind, body, and soul.

Get the Most from YOUR Massage

*Before the massage, give your therapist accurate health information and share your expectations.

*Feel free to report any discomfort during the massage, whether it's physical or has something to do with the environment.

*Provide feedback during the massage concerning pressure or speed of hand movement.

*Discuss any apprehensions you have about massage with your therapist. Remember, your therapist is a professional dedicated to ther profession.

*Remember, too, the therapuetic benefits of massage are cumulative. The more often you get a massage, the better you will feel and the more quickly your body will respond.

Create an Environment...

Simple images can clear your mind and calm your heart. Choose items in your home and office that speak when you look at them. Identify the emotion you desire, and look for that feeling when you hang a piece of artwork or display an item. Ambience can be created easily and help you on your journey to wellness and balance.
